I've gone about 20,000 blocks now, and I still haven't found a stronghold. I was on a server a while ago, possibly this one, where they had naturally generated end portals disabled, so eyes of ender just took you to the one at spawn.
If that's the way it is on this server, then that's fine, but if this one just happens to be super far away, let me know.

Im not sure about strongholds but Im pretty sure there are, I'll investigate and find out.

Thanks. I've gone nearly another 20,000 blocks toward spawn, and haven't found anything. Huchiel got back to me on the server and said they should have generated just fine. Let me know if you find one.

I just noticed something. I've gone 40,000 blocks, and I haven't seen a single ocean monument. I've seen villages, mines, a couple desert temples, and one dungeon, but not a single monument. Normally, I'll find a ton of them, occasionally within eyesight of each other, but I've seen literally nothing on this map. I don't know if monuments and strongholds are related in some way that would cause them not to generate, but I think I should have found a stronghold by now, and I certainly should have found a couple dozen monuments.
If something is too screwed up to fix, and the map needs to be reset again, I'm totally down with that. I love map resets.

imgur.com/a/kANvo Well, I found one, and it was only 50,000 blocks away from where I started. It still seems like there's something wrong, though. 50 kilometers is a loooooong way to have to go for a stronghold.
